egcs issue...
One small thing...
I withdrew the binutils-alpha package almost immediately after it was
released (it actually never made it into the dist), because HJ Lu
provided me with a patch that fixed .17 for the Alpha.
Thus we should be using (and depending on) binutils-2.8.1.0.17, not
binutils-alpha-anything.
Chris, could you look into redoing egcs? :-(
