linking problems with gcc-2.8.0

Hi !

If I try to link with gcc 2.8.0 I get the message crtbeginS.o : No such
file or directory

linking with ld works ...

binutils_2.8.1.0.17
gcc and cpp from beezer ..

Any clues ?
