Yes, it's horribly buggy.  In a way, I wish we had never switched to 1.1b
at all (the only thing we've gotten out of it are headaches and a pretty
good libstdc++).  I'm compiling up a copy of 1.0.3a right now.

If you're interested in the problems, it's giving up ALOT with internal
compiler errors (try jade sometime and you'll understand) and misbehaves
or dies altogether when using -O2 to compile some packages.
