Weird things with X and apps

Hello

This is my problem. When i try to run xquake, xanim or gimp and some
other programs. 
i'll copy/paste.

as i said .. this happends to gimp to... i tryed to run gimp in redhat.
that did work.. 
plz help me.. this is to trikky for me :-(
