Ok...I'll recompile the new glibc with the patch you sent me. I'll also
see if I can generate a dpkg that works and is patched also. My question
is, which needs to be installed first? Do I need one to install/run the
other? I feel like I'm looking at the chicken and the egg.
Also, I'm going to test-build the version of dpkg that I patch before even
applying the patch. I'm dying to know what's changed that's killing us
with that.
