I spoke too soon. There is a networking problem. Every minute or so, the
network connection goes dead for about 15 seconds. I'm getting these
messages in the /var/log/messages:

Jul 10 11:05:20 lobo kernel: eth0: 21142 100baseTx link beat good.
Jul 10 11:08:20 lobo kernel: eth0: 21142 100baseTx link beat good.
Jul 10 11:10:20 lobo kernel: eth0: 21142 100baseTx link beat good.
Jul 10 11:13:20 lobo kernel: eth0: 21142 100baseTx link beat good.

First off all, its on a 10baseT network, not 100.

Acutally, it looks like ypbind is reporting "RPC: Timed out" every couple
minutes. I wonder if thats the cause or just a symptom. Any ideas?
