Re: GLIBC 2.0.5c changes...

Is it just me, or has glibc (the debian package, at least) regressed
WRT conflicts with the kernel headers.

For instance, I've been trying to recompile pilot-link (which I had
compiled a couple of weeks ago) with 2.0.5c, and am now getting:

c++ -I../include -I./../include -g -O2 -Wall -c datebook.cc
In file included from /usr/include/linux/types.h:4,
                 from /usr/include/asm/socket.h:4,
                 from /usr/include/socketbits.h:181,
                 from /usr/include/sys/socket.h:34,
                 from /usr/include/netinet/in.h:24,
                 from ../include/pi-config.h:175,
                 from ../include/pi-source.h:38,
                 from datebook.cc:1:
/usr/include/linux/posix_types.h:44: conflicting types for `struct fd_set'
/usr/include/sys/select.h:48: previous declaration as `struct __fd_set'
/usr/include/linux/posix_types.h:44: conflicting types for `struct fd_set'
/usr/include/sys/select.h:89: previous declaration as `struct __fd_set'

Which is annoying, and hadn't been happening with 2.0.4.

Any suggestions? Would updated kernel headers help?

Mike.
