Install engines

I went to the perl conference in Pittsburgh, and...

There is a strong movement to port the perl language to the PalmPilot.
This is significant to admin because it may produce a much smaller and
more
modular language engine.  Size is important in installs because,
obviously, the
disk isn't available, there may be no cdrom and the network connection
may be
in the low bytes.

Unfortunately, I missed the talk on the file config stuff and the
proceedings
are in my car in the lot outside and its too hot to go out there.

One of the best small languages is scheme, a gnu favorite, along w/
guile.  I
am going to look into that suite this week.
