HOw to get more than 6 consoles in Bullseye

Hi,

I know this isn't strictly an accessibility issue but I'm sure many of us do this.

I like to use 24 consoles. But I just installed BullsEye on a VM and I can't figure out how to get any more than the default 6.

* I tried setting NAutoVTs=24 in /etc/systemd/logind.conf

* I tried setting ACTIVE_CONSOLES="/dev/tty[1-24]" in /etc/default/console-setup but the documentation for this file is very limited and the correct format to use is not obvious for numbers greater than 9.

* /etc/inittab doesn't seem to exist anymore in Debian

Unsurprisingly, searching for help on this doesn't give many relevant answers.

I did add XKBOPTIONS="lv3:ralt_switch" to /etc/default/keyboard to activate the right alt key, but I don't expect this to do anything until there are more than 12 consoles available.

Any and all help welcome.

Cheers,
Geoff.
