Re: Debian 11 formally debuts and hits the Bullseye • The Register

Thank you, Samuel, but that's for the Graphic User Interface, I should
have made it clearer that I was speaking about configuring the
Accessible Text Installation using the console and having the text
larger during installation by preconfiguring (and hopefully leaving it
that way) the largest console fonts available for direct framebuffer
(fbdev), doing so would help users with minimal but some vision to
have the screen to reinforce what they hear with the screen reader.

Many users have to reconfigure the console fonts after installation
because they're too small to see clearly.

Many people with visual disabilities have to rely upon old minimum
computing power computers which often are annoyingly slow to display
GUI graphics, thus rely upon console apps which are very fast.

I think it would be a great and needed improvement to an already
excellent text installer.

With best regards,

David
