Status of Stretch and Buster
Hi,
I've been a bit out of the loop as regards Debian accessibility and other
functionality. I've stil been using Debian but I've mainly been using
Jessie all this time.
I'm now getting a new PC and adding Linux to an old one, and I'd like to
install something newer as well as upgrade my existing machines.
I know that Buster has frozen. I also have heard bits and pieces about
some accessibility issues in Stretch.
So I guess my questions are:
1. For the new machines, should I install Buster or is it not yet ready
for us, either from an accessibility standpoint or in terms of general
stability (I'm not looking for bleeding edge, I'm looking for stability)?
2. If it's best for me to install Stretch, are there things I should be
aware of?
3. For the machines I want to upgrade from Jessie, is there anything I
should be aware of?
Anything else you think I should know?
Thanks,
Geoff.
