(forw) Switch to graphical installer by default?

Forwarding this mail so that people involved in accessibility issues
can answer.

In short: is the Debian graphical installer as accessible as the text
installer is?

We're discussing this at DebCamp today (again). What are the pros and
cons?

 g-i give us:
   * more languages support
   * prettier output?

But: what are the other effects? How well does g-i work for blind
users? Are all of the normal installer functions fully supported under
g-i?

It'd be easy to make the switch to g-i if we think it's right to for
wheezy, but let's work out if it's the right thing to do.
