The completion commands in Auctex-mode should help to reduce the amount of
input required, which I expect would improve accessibility in this situation.

I'm a strong proponent of TeX/LaTeX, which still remains the best option for
many purposes despite its drawbacks, for example the lack of clear separation
between content and style, the absence of validation as in XML, etc.
