Great great great! News. I managed to compile all that stuff
from source without problems, now I need to figure out how to
setup an X server :/ My first attempt in doing so resulted in a very
mysterious hang, and me blessing ext3 :). Oh well.
But this looks very promising already, thanks for your efforts so far.
