# v0.99 Thu Oct  9 21:00:56 CEST 2014
# by Ingo Juergensmann <ij(a)buildd.net>
# - added a GPG key check to prevent expiry

That seems to be the latest version on:

The cronjob also writes me (from the powered-off sever!):

Subject: Cron <buildd@crest> update-buildd.net heartbeat

So I guess it is missing something or looking in the wrong directory?

buildd@crest:/root$ /usr/local/bin/update-buildd.net heartbeat
grep: =>: Permission denied
buildd@crest:/root$ cd
buildd@crest:~$ /usr/local/bin/update-buildd.net heartbeat
grep: =>: No such file or directory
