speed up password logins
Hi,
here’s the trick again, before I forget it:
# $EDITOR /etc/pam.d/common-password
Search the line:
password [success=1 default=ignore] pam_unix.so obscure sha512
Change the sha512 to md5. Save and exit the editor, then
run “passwd root” and set a new password (or the same one).
Read 「man 3 crypt」, too.
