If you say so. I don't really understand how that stuff works. I didn't
realise that it was possible to use a cpio archive at all unless it was
linked into the kernel image (that is, as an initramfs). I vaguely recall
having to convert an initramfs cpio archive into extfs image in order to
get it to work as initrd.
