New features include a unified API for developing new drivers, DSP MC56001 emulation, a JIT compiler for CPU and FPU (linux-ia32 platform only), accelerated fVDI blitting (useful for multimedia apps), VIDEL zooming (allowing a 320x240 Atari screen on a 1024x768 LCD), and a new GUI. The user input system was improved with rewritten keyboard and mouse code and joystick support. The internal
