I did that once when I was playing with the SE/30. I mounted /usr from
the Amiga since it had a bigger disk over a 38.4kbps PPP link. It was
slow, but seemed to work until I tried to shut down the Mac. The
shutdown scripts stopped PPP before unmounting remote filesystems
causeing the system to hang.
