The 21k is OK for the real tiny screen of the fishtank type Macs (you
know, the ones with CPU and monitor together in one box, and the handle on
top of the case to make it easier to toss them out :-). 

Two colors == monochrome BTW. 

I bet there's a segmentation fault lurking somewhere in the rest of the
log. Seems to happen with some video cards on Mac. Probably needs a X
server with debug symbols (and X source present) to figure out why it
dies. The GDB trace I saw posted recently didn't include any debug symbols
so it wasn't too useful.
