I know what is causing it to hang, but I do not get a prompt anymore. The
screen stops scrolling before a prompt is shown. Can I create an emergency
boot up that will give me a prompt only without starting up the
installation, and run that from Ram or something? I know what needs
fixing, I just can't get to it.
