I don't know much about MAC SCSI, but I've written the Atari NCR5380
driver, from which the Mac one is derived :-)

This simply means that the disk doesn't answer. Any SCSI connection
problems?

All the rest (including "no currently connected command") are just
consequences of the first error (the timeout).
