Things I learned from this list that aren't readily
available online:

1. turn off appletalk in macos
2. don't disable vbl interrupts _off_ (unchecked) in
Penguin
3. kernel 2.0.36 network support doesn't work for
onboard sonic ethernet
4. newer kernel is installed in macos and specified in
Penguin, not in linux filesystem, after phase one
(reboot) of base system install
5. keep stuffit expander version current, useful when
trying to unstuff .sit archives from
ftp.mac.linux-m68k.org
