Centris SONIC Ethernet

I recently installed Debian 2.1 on a Centris 650. I didn't have any problems. Everything is installed and happy. No problems until I went to drop in onto my network. No packets going out or coming in.

Now on the www.linux-m68k.org page there is reference to a newer kernel providing support for NuBus SONIC ethernet cards. Doe this apply to the built-in ethernet in the Centris? Does anyone know if a new kernel will fix this problem for me?

TIA,
Matt
