Isn't supported either ... Alan is supposedly working on this (I've tested a 
sample kernel that should have probed for the Sonic, but did return crap
instead). Look at his Mac directory on ftp.uk.linux.org, maybe it works better
for you. 
Alan doesn't have a Quadra to test on, so it's all a bit slow.
