Quoting Gerald Turner (gturner@unzane.com): > Thank you Christian PERRIER for the coordination insights — I've > included questsions about kitchen/refrigeration in my email to Eliot > Center. Another important item: if the C&W is to be held outside campus and therefore outside the "main venue", you need to arrange for a way to store the cheese material from the beginning of Debconf (and Debcamp if there's one) up to the C&W day. Either attendees have fridges in their lodging location and that's fine...though the "CheeseTeam "might then have problems in gathering the cheese before the party (that *has* to be done: don't make the mistake of just saying to people: "hey popup with your cheese before the party and that'is it"). Or you need to find a place under your control to store the cheese material for a few days. In such case, having a fridge at the C&W venue is not mandatory (unless you can have access to it in the days before....and thus it becomes the main "cheese storage"). Collecting and identifying cheese before the party is one of the main tasks of the "Cheese Team". You will need 1-2 people highly dedicated to it, identified as such for DebConf attendees and always free to be sollicited by "where should I store my cheese" questions during the days before the party. As you don't have bubulle and his son Jean-Baptiste for this.....you need to find someone else...:-) (though, well, I won't come but I shouldn't talk for my son....he is *not* a moutain runner...:-))
