Postprosessing on everything!

It is quite evident that almost all our recordings would benefit
from some quick(!) postprocessing. The most obvious is cropping at
the ends. This can be done in 15 minutes for each 45 minutes talk
(sounds ridiculously slow, but the files are bigs and the bottle-
necks are many).

Next comes the sound levels. These have to be done in Cinelerra,
which needs some 5 minutes (on a fast computer) to generate an index
that shows the waveform. It is easy to locate passages with low sound-
level on the timeline, and fairly easy to insert a "gain" effect with
soundlevels that change with time. This kind of touch-up takes longer,
though.

The most complex and slow operation: Video replacement from a backup
recording. This requires the two recordings to be precisely lined up
on the timeline. That takes more skill and patience; John has some
experience on that.
