Hi, We need start scheduling the DebConf20 activities. This is my proposal, please let me know if you strongly disagree. I went looking into the speaker and registration statistics, and got the following: Region | Attendees | Speakers ----------------------|-----------|--------- Americas | 136 (33%) | 26 (38%) Europe/Africa | 187 (45%) | 26 (53%) Asia | 85 (21%) | 05 (07%) (percentages don't sum up to 100% due to rounding) To facilitate planning I suggest we take the "average" timezone of each region like this: Region | "Average" time zone ----------------------|-------------------- Americas | UTC-5 Europe | UTC+2 Asia | UTC+7 Given we have 7 days, I suggest we split them more or less proportionally so that each region gets it's share of "10:00 to 18:00" days, like this: - 3 days starting at 15:00 UTC - 3 days starting at 12:00 UTC - 1 day starting at 03:00 UTC
