This is what breakfast is for. :) There are plenty of businesses very nearby
where people could quickly grab a snack or coffee. With the catering
requirements imposed by the university, it's a little more difficult to get
"quality" coffee and "sweets" on site.
However, I am not in favor of paying $1500 for stale donuts.
