The final best room utilisation for noisy vs. quiet hacklab space, drinkers inside away from rain/sun or outside, etc., will also depend on what the weather is at the time, which should be fairly predictable by the time we reach DebCamp and the setup period.
As I understand it, the bar will be staffed with "volunteers", some of whom will stay on site specially for this -- what details have been planned so far? What opening hours are expected to be staffed? Separately, it was said that attendees might drive to supermarkets and stock up on their own supplies: since the local plan appears to be to make a profit from the bar, does there need to be some effort to discourage "black market" alcohol? Or is there expected to be some corkage charge for people who bring their own bottles?
