[Debconf-team] Jungfrau Park visit notes
This is a brief summary of things observed/discussed during the visit
If I've omitted anything, please feel free to add it
Participants: Holger, Luca, Raphael, Gaudenz, Philipp and myself
a) possible hotel construction (photo 6789) may commence during 2013,
park may close to public visitors, events would be OK though
b) Ground level kitchen not normally available, but possible.
Has access to grassed outdoor area and indoor eating area. (photos 6756
- 6759)
c) mini-busses, but electric power only, 3 journeys to railway station
uses up all the battery (photos 6748 - 6750)
d) large cool-rooms included in booking (photos 6751 - 6753)
e) LAN party had 1000 users, but with special power supply,
with special internet access (temporary fibre connection)
f) 8th floor has 70 person limit (fire regulations),
(appears to have space for 200, so must take care to control access)
g) most of the building is open/public access, various cafeterias, etc
h) appears very good for disabled access
