Hi Richard, thanks a lot for this excellent work.

You can count on extra Debian money as a reserve for something as
important as sponsored accommodations. _If everything else fail_, we can
afford to pay up to 10 kUSD from general Debian reserves for that. No
need to pull hair out.

This seems to be the biggest variable around, indeed. I have no idea
when you expect to have an answer, nor the kind of money we're talking
about.  Considering that and the initial disclaimer in Luca's mail
("this is in no way an official request yet"), I'll now retreat in the
dark corner again. Let me know if/when you need more from me.
