Good points you raise, I think. Both in DC11 and DC12 we *did* have
platinum sponsors - only they were not truly accountable as such, as
they either gave us services and not money (Srpska and Nicaragua
government) or huge discounts in the fees (UCA). Maybe that means this
is the "government level"?
As for the increases in price (or decreases in value)... Yes, it also
worries me. I know this year we need to raise more money than ever
before, but we don't have clear indication that the global economy is
improving (even if Swiss economy is in much better shape than Bosnia's
and Nicaragua's). I am truly worried of not getting near the needed
amount.
