It's certainly fine to do that, though we can't *force* people to add
themselves there of course.
You can also offer them unlimited free registrations for the
conference (just attendance, not food and accommodation, I mean) --
while it's obvious to us that they can get that, they may not realise
unless you point it out.

I'm sure we will have qualified people at the conference who would
volunteer to advise them -- perhaps ask on
debconf-discuss@lists.debconf.org, or on another wider Debian list.

We can ask attendees to bring unwanted physical books, but on this
point it's harder for us to provide something very
organised/guaranteed from DebConf/Debian.
Perhaps someone from the sponsorship team could check through our
previous O'Reilly contacts if they could help by donating books? (If
they gave enough, I think we could recognise that as DebConf
sponsorship in itself, if they wanted that.)

Great -- that must mean they're enthusiastic, since normally venues
are scared of that part. :)
