Hello everyone!

I have no authoritative data, and I'm in a bit of a rush right now, so please don't flame me, but, the last one I went to was 2010, and intuitively it felt like more than that.

According to the final reports for 2009 and 2010 about 300 persons
usually attend debconf.

41 in the 2010 edition).

Regarding the close date for submissions I think there are others better
suited to answer that.
