[ re-sent, now with the correct -team address, sorry ] Heya, JFYI, recently I've got a few worried emails about reimbursements, like the one you can find below (forwarded with Lior's permission). It looks like people are worried about not having heard back about reimbursements. I don't think that delay is the problem here --- delays are understandable, especially during VAC-likely period --- but rather not having heard back from the sponsoring team. Maybe someone from herb can post a brief status update on debconf-announce about this? Many thanks for your work on handling the reimbursements! Cheers. ----- Forwarded message from Lior Kaplan <kaplan@debian.org> ----- Date: Tue, 30 Aug 2011 10:30:17 +0300 From: Lior Kaplan <kaplan@debian.org> To: Stefano Zacchiroli <zack@debian.org> Subject: a little help with DebConf11 sponsorship Hi Stefano, I'm having a little problem with the Debconf sponsorship money... I thought maybe you'll know who should I contact. The main problem is not getting response from anyone while trying to query about been reimbursed. I can be patient, but at least want some ACK that everything is OK and someone will take care of this eventually. So far I tried: joerg@debconf.org joerg@debian.org herb@debconf.org (the debconf sponsorship team) Thanks, Kaplan ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Lior Kaplan <kaplanlior@gmail.com> Date: Tue, Aug 23, 2011 at 10:24 PM Subject: Fwd: Your travel cost sponsorship request for DebConf11 To: DebConf Sponsorship Team <herb@debconf.org> Hi, I sent Joerg the details I didn't have in Debconf, but I didn't get any response from him (it been 3 weeks).
