something that can be sent to d-d-a like schultmc's call for
sponsorship selection team volunteers[0] which was very successful.

I don't know if this is the kind of thing the talks team wants (I took
a bit much liberty in writing the announcement, someone should correct
it to what the team actually would like and is planning).  Someone
from the talks team should revise, approve, and send if desired.
