You're pointing out, what at least I am painfully aware of. At the last IRC
meeting ten days ago, we finalized the schedule and agreed on sending out the
call for paper as well as the "please register and apply for sponsorship if
appropriate"-mail, unfortunatly this hasnt happened yet. (</hint> *ping*)

A great first start would be to craft this letter ("we think that $persons
attendance will improve the conf for debian and every attendee")..
