[Debconf-team] Assembling the proceedings: volunteer/s needed!

Hi!

The talks for DebConf8 have mostly been selected.  The definitive list
will be announced soon.  We now need to start pestering speakers so
that they can write and send-in their papers for the proceedings
on-time.

We need someone to be in charge of asking speakers for their papers
and assembling the corresponding .tex.  The format is already done,
and the svn is already there.  The tasks for this person or group of
persons would be:

1) Ask speakers for their papers.
2) Insist. :)
3) Proof-read
4) Put the text inside the TeX template.

The text should be finished around June 15th, so point 1) should be
done as soon as the talks are announced.

Once the text is assembled, we will handle the printing and binding of
the proceedings in Argentina, so no need to worry about that.

Please, please, please, if there someone out there who can volunteer
for this, it'd be a great weight off our shoulders.
