I have to agree with Holger's statement. I had a great time volunteering in
Edinburgh, and as time schedules don't work out for me to attend meetings
(silly western time zone!), it's difficult for me to really get involved
before arriving at the venu. And, as my cohort is usually interested in
other talks and such, I'm left to my own devices to find amusement - which I
happily filled by being useful. At least, people around me pretended I was
useful. ;)
