[Debconf-team] Regarding "good evening al team of the debconf8"

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

The Debian Venezuela DC Team would like to apologize for the incident
regarding a fake withdrawal of our proposal by a person nicknamed
`rootvzla': this person has been trolling in FOSS-related mailing lists,
IRC channels and online communities since 2005, and has been banned from
most of them.

Recently it has come to our attention that rootvzla at gmail.com applied
to the NM process, which seems like another attempt to troll in
development communities. Actions have started to ban this person from
the NM process.

Debian Venezuela still hopes to host Debconf in 2008, and will be
pleased to work together with the Debconf Organization Team in order to
answer all questions regarding our proposal.

As a protection measure, we sign our email messages with the GPG key
FB2784A1, which is available in subkeys.pgp.net and is signed by
Venezuelan maintainers and NM participants, all of them part of the
Debian Venezuela DC Team [1].

Best regards,
Debian Venezuela DC Team
