[Debconf-team] VenueComparison wiki update
Hello,
Could you, please, update VenueComparison wiki page for SJJ with
following information:
Networking
- Hotel manager said that they will have 100Mbps switched network
access in rooms next year.
Providers:
- Two (Europronet and Team) out of three providers promised to donate
a link. Paperwork is in progress. We don't have info about third
provider (BihNet) we are negotiating with. Europronet is already
hotel's provider so not much additional work will be needed.
Price:
- after negotiating with the hotel manager: price is 30 Euros per
person per day for everything ... not 30 - 33, nor 30 - 35. This is
not an estimate - it's a correct value. This needs to be corrected on
all the places where price is mentioned (food, accomodation,
conference facilities etc. ..)
For people with disabilities:
"How easy is to handicapped people move there?"
- hotel offered us a minibus for the disabled people (capacity: 10
people in wheelchairs) so the cab won't be needed ..
"How much work does it imply to cover the area with wireless links?"
- ETF (Faculty of Electrical Engineering) has already offered to
donate 10 access points.
Special rooms:
There are special rooms at the hotel.
Have they/do they need air conditioning?
- Yes.
What electrical load can they handle?
- Installations are renewed after the war so there should be no problems.
Conference Facilities:
Are there any limitations regarding the consumptions of food /
alcohol? Where do what limitations apply?
- It's forbidden by law for stores to sell alcohol to people under 18
years. It's forbidden for people under 18 years to drink alcohol in
public places - but this law is not enforced. No limitations other
than that.
How far is it to the nearest convenience stores / all-night restaurants?
- 5-6 minutes of walk.
