Registration for newcomers, nametags and such
Hi,
I have made a couple of changes:
First of all: The new person page is online and public again, so that
anybody coming late can just register and stop bugging us ;-) I
printed two pages inviting them to do so - The address is
https://comas.linux-aktivaattori.org/debconf5/attendees/new
Second: The process for printing nametags is ready! What do you need
for it? Ok... First of all, enter the Comas administrative
interface. I am not putting here the login/password information, but
it will be readily available at our premises.
- Enter https://comas.linux-aktivaattori.org/debconf5/committee with the
right user information
- If you know the person's or people's logins, click on 'print
nametags'. Otherwise, look them up at 'attendee
lookup/administration'.
- Put the login (or lists of logins, blank-separated) in the text
field, click on the "Print it!" button
- The Postscript page image is now ready to be print it. Click on the
"available here" link to download it. I suggest you open it with gv
or similar, just to be sure it has the right information (blah blah
race condition blah).
- Print it to the 'reception' (color) printer.
Ok, I suggest you to batch together as many nametags as possible (we
can fit 10 per page). You know, every time you needlessly cut a tree,
God kills a kitten. Printing too much paper is equivalent, then, to
setting up an AP.
Greetings,
