Preparations
============
- print nametags and laminate them
TODO: have a proper interface to comas to pull out the nametag
information and print them efficiantly. Contact gwolf and
dondecarlo to create interface
Then Cut and Laminate. H0lger knows how.
preferably white background for readability, symbol/icon for
people sleeping in the dorm.
- print food tickets. ask nchip about design
- Packing *personalized* bags with
- oreilley books
- conference tshirt of the right size
- food tickets of the right amount
- conference proceedings
- name tag
- info sheet about debconf5 Todo
In order to be able to pack the bags with the proper tshirt
size and other personalized information, comas should be able
to print a one page per attendee summary with all relevant
information.
TODO: talk to gwolf and dondecarlo to create such an export
feature ready for printing
- group/sort the bags together on a arrivals-per-day basis, to
keep the amount manageable and come up with an easy way to
carry them from the storage room to the registration desk
(broomsticks are cool)
Todo every day
==============
- create an arrivals-Today list and mark who is there allready

- make sure to note who got the room key and that he/she left a deposit
mark that person in the general attendance list for checkout.
- make a leaves-today list preferably with the person who has
the key and left the deposit marked somehow

perhaps have them integrate a db field for "has the key"
and "has notebook"
- refine the process so it works smoothly and easily. write up a
a4-page with instructions of what to do for new volunteers
which will be needed on the 8th, 9th and 10th, when the bulk of
people arrive. the first days are greate for refining the
process.
Info Desk
=========
- help people who lost their key/mama/friend.
- have a phone ready (sim card provided)
TODO: buy sim card
- have a list of emergency numbers ready: taxi, hospital, mobile
numbers of organizers and other, really important people.
- first aid kid
- have the notebooks there to had them out to people needing one.
make sure they get the same notebook every day. have procedure
in place to check notebooks in and out.
please complete this list. someone could put it on a wiki page,
even, so it can be elaborated on easily.
