Re: [staff] Debian Install workshop in Brest

Hi guys,

Here is a schema and photo of our office : https://pic.infini.fr/gallery#7AYH3IyX/hHOd34T6.png,FLxbdPj0/zWUUk2Rb.jpg

We have :

- 8 tables (for a maximum of 20 sitting persons, though 16 would be optimal, in order to be comfortable)

- Plenty of outlets on the two four-seats tables ; Only 4 outlets on the central 12-seats table ; we may have some multi-sockets power bars, but it may not be enough.

- lots of pen an paper

- We have WIFi

- Ethernet ports and cables on the small tables but not on the central one (though we could put a switch there if someone brings one in + eth cables).

- We do have a printer

Cheers,

Two more things:

1. Making the event known

The event can only be a success (in a narrow sense as I'm sure that we
can have a jolly time amongst ourselves and the Infini team :) if we
actually get attendees. While I've added the event to the endof10.org
page, this will not suffice in and of itself, to motivate people to
come, I'm afraid. What can we do to make the event more widely known
(and thereby increase the likelihood of people showing up)?

2. Infrastructure

James has created an [issue][0] on Salsa to track the logistics we need
to take care of.

@Infini: Can you please tell us what you can provide in your offices?

- [ ] tables
- [ ] power outlets
- [ ] paper/pens
- [ ] (Guest) WiFi
- [ ] Ethernet ports and cables
- [ ] printer (to print the liability waivers on demand)

I'd argue that the Live USB drives are on us Debiantes. As mentioned in
my previous mail in the thread, I will bring at least one Debian 12
GNOME Live USB. How do we best coordinate who brings which image and how
many? A rough estimate of the number of attendees would be of great help
here (so far 0 are registered on the Mobilizon event :().
