We'd be glad to have you.

You beat me to giving the updates on the mailing list :)
I've updated the event description on the DebConf site today. The most
important points:
* _If_ the event happens, it will likely not be on-site as DebConf
requires all campus attendees to register by 2025-06-29. Infini has
generously offered to host us and the workshop in their Brest
offices. Now it would be up to us to decide on a date and time and
coordinate with Infini (in cc) to make sure it fits them, too. I was
thinking towards the end of DebConf so as to have some time to
"market" the event, but I am open to other suggestions. What would be
the best way to find a date and time which works for most volunteers?
* Infini is also offering support for all kinds of computing related
questions, incl. Linux, for locals. Combined with the local Debian
community, I think we can provide a sufficient support network for new
Debian users even after most of us will have left Brest after DebConf.
* We need to find (french-speaking) volunteers for the event and the
translation of documents. There have been some in this thread - I hope
that their offer to help still stands. Please refer to the DebConf
event description for details on what needs to be done.
Looking forward to seeing all of you soon!
Best,
Alex
