This seems a bit defeatest to me.

If there's not already a local linux group in Brest, then perhaps we
just need to make sure that everyone who's machine we install gets a
list of resources that might put them in touch with help, and each
other.  e.g.:

  https://lists.debian.org/debian-user-french/2025/06/threads.html

As long as they have the chance to discover other people in the same
state of helplessness in Brest, they might then be tempted to get
together and sympathise about the sorry state of their laptops.
