Yes, absolutely.

As the FSFE local group in Zurich we('re going to) use the following
waiver for our Linux install events:

(we have a proper git repo on git.fsfe.org but that service is currently
being DDoSed/scraped...)

This is a valid point. To address this problem I was hoping to
collaborate with a [local hackerspace][1] or a local LUG. This would
have the additional benefit that we might be able to use their premises
as the DebConf venue is somewhat outside Brest proper.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find neither [events][2] nor [places][3]
for Linux installs/support in Brest on endof10.org as of today.
