Re: Knowing whom to talk to on Debconf

Hi,

thank you all for your opinion and hints. I appreciate all your efforts.

However, what I was looking for does not seem to be present. That's sad, since in such a big event I'd rather not leave it to coincidence to run across a person I need/want to talk to about a certain topic.

While it is nice to meet random people in queues and in random places, I am a rather horrible smalltalker (and I sadly also stopped being a good listener a few years ago), and I am in these days way too often totally not in a talkative mood.

On the other hand, when I have a subject that I'd like to discuss, I'd love to have technological help to learn WHOM I could talk about that subject (and have a discussion partner who understands the issue and is actually better than me in that topic), and preferably WHERE to find that person. The latter is hard to do, and I know that Debian is not the CCC, so this is going to stay a wish.

Greetings
Marc
