I would sincerely encourage people who know they can't make the full hike
(4.9 mile loop with 1500+ ft elevation change) to join the bus tour option.
You will still get to vist both Multnomah Falls and the Vista House, and you
will get plenty of "exercise time" at Rooster Rock State Park. Steve is
checking with our sous planner for the bus tour, but I do remember she's
giving plenty of time at Multnomah Falls to explore to the *very* least up
to the beautiful bridge.
I understand there has been concern that the bus tour "leaves later", but
this is to help avoid rush hour traffic congestion in a major throughput of
Portland daily traffic. Rest assured, both the hiking and gentler tours will
get plenty of time in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge.

sure of where you belong, anymore. But home is always
there... because home is not a place. It's wherever your
